Jeff received the flag that Ecuadorian delegation will defend in the Olympic Games of Athens. 
ECUADOR, 14/08/2004. At a solemn ceremony the delegation that will participate in the Olympic Games of Athens received the flag they will defend in this competition.
Jefferson Pérez, four-time world racewalking champion, will be the standard-bearer of the "Three-Color" flag in the opening parade.
The 17 sportsmen who will compete at Athens, beginning next August 13th, will receive uniforms, carrying-bags and accessories made by the Marathon Sports company. Each sportsman will receive a competition warm up suit, slacks and sweater for training, three polo shirts (blue, red and white) three other shirts for training (yellow, blue, and red and grey) two pairs of shorts, shoes, hat, backpack, and a large carrying-bag for their equipment.
The accompanying sports officials will receive a competition warm up suit, a polo shirt and pair of shorts, carrying-bag, hat and backpack. The delegation will travel July 31st to the Old Continent.
