Ruben Cuenca took seventh place in the II Official Event of the South American Rally Championship in Paraguay 
PARAGUAY, 16/04/2007. The Ecuadorian race car driver had a great race in the Trans Itapúa Rally in the southern state of Encarnación in Paraguay, in the II Official Event of the South American Rally. Cuenca was always in the leaders’ group, putting up a great fight against the favorites, especially the local drivers, who in a sportsman-like way “opened” the road for Alejandro Galanti to finish in second placed, surpassed only by the great favorite, Roberto Sanchez of Argentina, who in the final analysis finished in first place in the general standings.
Cuenca thus finished his first participation in the international circuit this year. His next event will be the Third Rally event the 18th to the 20th of May at Erechim, Brazil.
